Shooting at steel targets has become very popular over the years. As such, we have now developed an opportunity on Thursdays for some long range .22 shooting at steel targets from the 800 yd firing point on Stickledown. There will be approx. 4 steel plates per lane placed in the range danger area between 75 - 300 yds.
This is an exciting way for shooters who enjoy .22 to try something new to Bisley!
You must be an individual NRA member or member of an affiliated club and have a valid SCC for Gallery Rifle.
Members will have to provide their own rifles and ammunition. Rifle hire and ammunition purchase is available from the NRA Armoury, click here for more information.
To book, create an online booking, or contact the Range Office for availability.
These sessions are booked as individual bookings (not club bookings) via the online system, showing as ".22 LR Steels Member Day"
One person per booking. Up to 6 bookings permitted.
Costs (effective until 29th March 2026)
Affiliated club members are able to book on to our Member Days for an additional £11.00 fee (£11.50 as of 2026).
