WEATHER WARNING UPDATE – Saturday 4th October
Due to worsening weather conditions, winds of up to 50mph are now forecast for tomorrow.
As a result, and in the interest of safety, please note the following updated range cancellations:
- All Stickledown Range bookings – (except Target Shotgun Festival)
- All Century Range bookings – (except Historic Service Match)
- Short Siberia Electronics
- Chobham Ridge Member Day
If you have a booking that is affected, the Range Office team will get in contact with you. Should you wish to amend your booking for Saturday, please contact the Range Office.
At this time all other bookings will remain unaffected and we are intending to keep the ranges open where possible. The Range Safety team will be on the ranges to monitor conditions throughout the day.
In excess of 25mph wind readings, we will cease firing on the range in question. Once a cease fire has been called, all targets should be lowered to prevent further damage to target frames or injury to customers or staff. The Range Safety Team will continue to monitor the wind and aim to get shooting to recommence once conditions are at a sustainable and safe level. You will be individually advised when shooting is permitted to recommence. Please do not continue to call range control over the control net.
